About
Butcher Paull & Calder is a multi-disciplinary Perth law firm providing tax, business and litigation services. We also have more than 30 years experience in general practice including matters of family law, probate, personal injury and workers compensation. This breadth of expertise gives us the capacity to deal with multi-faceted legal problems effectively and allows us to cater for the corporate, business and personal client alike.
BPC has two partners, Robert Butcher and Greg Calder, who respectively head the Litigation and Business Law Departments of the firm. They are also joined by Greg Paull, who is a consultant to the Litigation Department, and Nathan Thomson and Greg Vellacott who are Senior Associates in the Business Law Department. Together, the firm employs some 10 solicitors, in addition to many other paralegals, clerks and support staff.
Fees
Our fees, and the basis upon which we calculate them, are disclosed before work commences on a matter in accordance with the Legal Profession Act 2008 (WA).
Litigious matters may proceed with or without a Costs Agreement. This often depends on the quantum and area of law in which the work is done. Other arrangements, in either Litigation or Business Law Department matters, are available by specific request and will be expressly agreed.
Open Line Policy
We are prepared to take the time to understand your business, your case and the challenges you face. We adopt an open line policy with our existing clients. This means our lawyers will always talk through a problem with you for no charge before we commence work.
