Mitchell Shearing graduated from the University of Notre Dame Australia in 2026 with a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Arts (English Literature) and began PLT in February 2026.
Mitchell began his legal career as a Law Clerk with Butcher Paull & Calder in July 2025, assisting on a broad range of civil, criminal, and family law matters and he gained experience in Local Government Law matters following a clerkship with a boutique Perth firm.
Mitchell commenced as a Law Graduate with Butcher Paull and Calder in March 2026 in the Litigation and Disputes team and predominantly works in:
- Criminal Law
- Family Law
- General Commercial Litigation
In his spare time, he is a multi-instrumentalist, predominantly a saxophonist, vocalist, cellist, pianist, and guitarist, with a passion for continuously learning new skills.
